February is Dental Health Month. Put the spotlight on those pearly whites with this fresh art project.
Supplies:
- White paper
- Scissors-adult use
- Kids toothpaste
- White tempera paint
- Toothbrushes
- White glitter
Directions:
- Cut out a tooth shape from white paper, one for each child in your care.
- Mix together 2 tablespoons of kids’ toothpaste with ½ cup of white tempera paint.
- Place a drop of the paint mixture onto each child’s paper tooth.
- Provide a toothbrush for the child to use as a painting tool.
- Sprinkle glitter over the painted tooth to make it sparkling white!
