Over
76 million Americans are unsuspecting victims of foodborne illness each year.
Children, due to their underdeveloped immune systems, are more likely to suffer
serious consequences from foodborne illness. This workshop will highlight the
major causes of foodborne illness and share information on safe food handling
practices to minimize the risk of foodborne illness in your home. This workshop
fulfills the annual training requirements for CACFP participants.
