Hello, my name is Lisa and thank you for visiting my website. Being a parent myself, I realize that finding the best daycare setting for your families own personal needs is a difficult task. I will provide a safe, loving, respectful homelike atmosphere for your child/children, with a semi structured day plan through directed and undirected activities. Children in my care will have the opportunity to learn about colors, shapes, textures, numbers, letters, animals, weather, seasons, feelings, senses, nutrition, personal hygiene, manners, respect, creative concepts such as "pretend" play, art, music, drama and dance. For one week each month there will be a cooking unit. The children love helping in the kitchen and it's a great way to get them to try new foods.

A typical day starts with breakfast 7:00-8:00. I offer a semi structured environment with free play, a preschool curriculum 5 days a week in the morning, along with crafts planned throughout the week. Lunch is 11:30-12:00 and Quiet/Nap Time is 1:00-3:00, followed with a Snack 3:00-3:30. Outside play time is important and we will get out as much as possible during the colder months. In the Summer we will spend most of our time outside using our creative minds, and exercising our bodies through games and other activities. Children are encouraged to display proper manners and common courtesies to each other.
