~Hi~ My name is Shara. Here is a little about me, I have been doing daycare for 8~years. I started my own daycare after I finished college and had my own child. It was very hard for me to leave my child with someone else and already knowing my love for children I decided to start my own daycare. It was one of the best decisions I made in life. The benefits of my job are priceless because, everyday something great and spectacular happens. I am a licensed childcare provider and participate in the Food Program. I am CPR/First Aid Certified and take at least 20 hours for trainings a year. I care for children of all ages infant through school age. My hours are Monday - Friday 6:00a.m. to 6:00p.m.

Shara's Childcare offers a clean, warm, very organized, loving child care environment with lots of fun things to do. I have a fenced in yard with lots of outside play equipment, as well as, lots of fun toys inside. We do arts and crafts, storytime, music, movies, go to the park, swimming pool, and play lots. I provide nutritious meals and snacks and offer breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and supper.

A typical day consists of breakfast around 7:30-8:30a.m. We normally do a morning activity or storytime. Lunch is around 11:00-12:00p.m. Then if weather permits we play outside. Then nap time is from around 1:00-3:30p.m. Big kids usually watch a movie or go outside for a quiet/rest time during the younger kid's naptime. The children have an afternoon snack around 3:00-4:00p.m. Then we play, do homework, or whatever till it is time for our parents to come.
