Baked Meatballs

 







   Serving Size:
2 meatballs is 1.5 oz meat/ meat alternate for a 3-5 year old at lunch/supper.

 

   Yield:
12 meatballs

 


 

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. minced onion
1 lb. lean (85/15) ground beef
1 egg(s)
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/3 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease baking sheet lightly with oil.
2. In a small skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil and add onions. Cook over medium heat until tender, about 3 minutes.
3. In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients together. Add cooked onions and mix well.
4. Shape into 12 meatballs and place on baking sheet.
5. Bake until thoroughly cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
