Penguin Painting
Materials
- ~ White Paper
- ~ Orange Paper
- ~ Black Paint
- ~ Paintbrushes
- ~ Scissors
- ~ Reinforcements for holes in ring binders
Instructions
- ~ Use the paintbrush to apply black paint to the bottom of the child's foot.
- ~ Paint only the foot, not the toes.
- ~ Press the child's foot firmly onto a piece of white paper. Let dry completely.
- ~ Arrange their paper so that the top of their footprint is at the bottom of the page.
- ~ Cut out a triangle beak and two oval flippers for each penguin from the orange paper.
- ~ Have the child glue on the flippers and beak and stick on the hole reinforcer for the eye.
- ~ Use a black marker to draw a line to create the white tummy where the arch of their footprint left a white space.
