Picnic Plate

 

Materials

• ~ Paper plates
• ~ Crayons
• ~ Pictures of picnic foods and an ant (you could cut these out of magazines, draw them, or use the patterns from Picnic Pairs)
• ~ Glue sticks
• ~ Safety scissors
• ~ Paper clips
• ~ Small magnets

Instructions

• ~ Color and cut out the food pictures.
• ~ Glue them onto the paper plate.
• ~ Cut out the ant and attach the paper clip.
• ~ Set the ant on the plate of food.
• ~ Hold the magnet under the plate. As you move the magnet, the ant will move around the plate.
