A Turkey To Be Thankful For

 

Materials

• ~ Construction paper in autumn colors
• ~ Safety scissors
• ~ sticks
• ~ Googley eyes
• ~ Red curling ribbon

Instructions

• ~ Trace the child's foot on a piece of brown construction paper. Have the child cut out this piece if able. This will be the body of the turkey.
• ~ Trace the child's hand on a stack of 4 autumn colored pieces of construction paper. An adult can then cut all 4-hand prints out at once. The child can glue these "feathers" onto the back of the turkey's body.
• ~ From a scrap of yellow paper, cut a small square. Fold the square over to form the beak.
