Flour and Water Finger Painting

 

Materials

• ~ Brown paper bags (grocery bags)
• ~ Scissors
• ~ 1/2 Cup White flour
• ~ 1/2 Cup Water
• ~ 1 tsp. Salt
• ~ Wheat germ

Instructions

• ~ From the brown bags, cut the shape of a bread slice.
• ~ Prepare a mixture of flour and water that is the consistency of paint.
• ~ Add the salt.
• ~ Let the children fingerpaint with the flour & water mixture on their bread shapes.
• ~ Sprinkle bits of wheat germ over the top, while it is still wet.

Hint: This project has a tendency to curl at the edges as it dries, so you might want to set something heavy around it, such as canned goods.
