Pancakes with Blueberry Syrup

 

Materials

• ~ Tan paper
• ~ Brown marker
• ~ Light corn syrup (about 1/2 cup)
• ~ Blue tempera paint (about 1 Tbsp.)
• ~ Plastic spoons

Instructions

• ~ Draw three circles/pancakes on the tan paper, using the brown marker. A plastic lid makes a good tracing pattern to make the circles.
• ~ In a disposable dish or cup, mix the blue paint into the corn syrup.
• ~ Let the child use a plastic spoon to drizzle the "blueberry syrup" onto the pancakes.
• ~ This project will take overnight to dry.
