Kwanza Candle Treats

 

Materials

• ~ 1 toilet paper tube for each child
• ~ Red, black and green markers
• ~ Yellow tissue paper
• ~ 1 sucker for each child
• ~ Red or green curling ribbon

Instructions

• ~ Color the toilet paper tubes, red, green, and black, the traditional colors of Kwanzaa.
• ~ Wrap a square of yellow tissue paper around the sucker.
• ~ Tie the tissue onto the stick with the curling ribbon.
• ~ Insert the flame/treat into the Kwanzaa candle.
• ~ The children can take their candle treats home to enjoy themselves or to give as a gift to someone special.
