Spaghetti Mobiles

 

Materials

• ~ Cooked, drained and cooled spaghetti noodles
• ~ Glue (liquid, not sticks)
• ~ Shallow containers or bowls (3-4)
• ~ Food coloring (3-4 colors)
• ~ Wax paper
• ~ Yarn or string

Instructions

• ~ Pour glue into the bottom of each shallow container so that it completely covers the bottom.
• ~ Add several drops of food coloring-one color to each container.
• ~ Lay out a piece of wax paper in front of each child.
• ~ Give each child a pile of cooked spaghetti noodles.
• ~ Have the children dip individual noodles into the colored glue. Then lay the dipped noodles on top of each other onto their wax paper.
• ~ Encourage the children to use many noodles and many colors.
• ~ Let the mobiles dry overnight or longer.
• ~ Add a string to hang these beautiful creations.
