Heart Art

 

Materials

• ~ Pink paper
• ~ White paper
• ~ Red paper
• ~ Black paint
• ~ Pie pan or shallow dish
• ~ Glue stick
• ~ Black marker
• ~ Heart Stickers
• ~ Small toy car or truck with treaded tires

Instructions

• ~ Pre cut the pink heart shape, red strip, and white square for each child.
• ~ Next, cover the bottom of your pie pan with a thin layer of black paint.
• ~ Then let each child have a turn to dip the wheels of the toy truck into the black paint and drive the truck around on their heart shape. Encourage them to press firmly on the truck to create the tire prints.
• ~ When the paint is dry, glue the red strip across the center of the heart, and place the white square in the middle of that.
• ~ Add the heart sticker and print the words, Buckle Up-I Love You to finish off your heart art.
