Crispy Fish Sticks

 

   Serving Size:
2 sticks is a 2.0 oz meat/ meat alternate for a 6 - 12 year old at lunch/supper.

 

   Yield:
16 fish sticks

 


 

Ingredients:

3 oz. dried seasoned bread crumbs
3 Tbsp. reduced fat mayonnaise
2 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 lbs. firm white fish fillets
cooking spray or vegetable oil

Directions:
Combine mayonnaise and next three ingredients in shallow bowl; stir well. Cut fillets into 1 inch wide pieces (16 pieces total). Dip fish in mayonnaise mixture and dredge in breadcrumbs. Place fish on baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 425 degrees for 22-25 minutes or until crispy and brown.
