Sponge Relay

 

You'll need sponges and a big bucket of water for this race. To play, soak a sponge in water and have the 1st runner place it on top of her head. Direct her to run through an obstacle course you have set up, without letting the sponge fall off her head. If the sponge falls the runner must come back to the start, re-soak the sponge and try again. Once the course is completed the sponge is handed off to the next runner until all children have had a turn.
