Scratch and Sniff Paintings

 

Materials

• ~ White paper
• ~ Paintbrushes
• ~ Assorted flavors of gelatin (dry)
• ~ Water
• ~ Small bowls or cups for mixing paint

Instructions

• ~ Add 1/2 cup of hot water to 1/2 package of gelatin. Stir until dissolved.
• ~ Let "paint" sit at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes so that it can thicken slightly.
• ~ Provide paper and brushes and let the kids get creative!
• ~ Allow paintings to dry completely, and then use your senses of touch and smell to enjoy your artwork in a whole new way!
