Leopard and Zebra Headbands
Materials
- ~ White and yellow paper
- ~ Scissors
- ~ Black paint
- ~ Paintbrushes
- ~ Paint sponges
- ~ Stapler
Instructions
- ~ From the white and yellow paper, cut strips that are long enough to fit around a child's head.
- ~ Cut out sets of rounded ears from the yellow paper, and pointed ears from the white paper.
- ~ Pour black paint into paint pans or paper plates and give each child a paintbrush and a paint sponge.
- ~ Direct the children to use the paintbrush to make the zebra's stripes on the white paper and ears.
- ~ On the yellow paper and on the ears, apply black paint with the sponge to create the leopard's spots.
- ~ Use the stapler to attach the ears and to connect the ends of the headband to fit around the child's head.
