One baked apple is 1/2 cup fruit for a 3-5 year old at breakfast or 1/2 of an apple is a 1/4 cup fruit for lunch/dinner.

6 baked apples
Ingredients:
6 medium apple(s)
1 Tbsp. + 2 tsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. + 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 1/4 c. raisins
Directions:
Place cored apples in a baking dish. Put a pat of butter and raisins into the center of each one. Drizzle maple syrup. Pour an inch of water into the dish. Bake at 375 degrees until tender (about 30 minutes). Baste and serve warm.
