One serving is 1.5 oz meat/ meat alternate, 1/4 cup vegetable, and 1 oz grain for a 3-5 year old at lunch/supper.
8 oz. spaghetti
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. hamburger
1 small onion
1 jar (27 oz.) spaghetti sauce
4 oz. or 1 c. mozzarella cheese
Cook spaghetti and drain. In a large bowl, beat the egg, milk and salt. Add spaghetti and toss to coat. Transfer to a greased baking dish. Brown meat and chopped onion; drain. Add spaghetti sauce and mix well. Spoon over noodles. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bake 10 minutes more. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
