BBQ Cups

 

   Serving Size:
One BBQ cup is 1.5 oz meat/ meat alternate and 1 oz grain for a 3-5 year old at lunch/supper.

 

   Yield:
10 BBQ cups

 


 

Ingredients:

1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. BBQ sauce
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tube (10 biscuits per tube) biscuits
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 10 muffin cups. Brown ground beef and drain. Stir in BBQ sauce, onions, and brown sugar. Cook 1 minute to blend flavors stirring constantly. Separate dough into 10 biscuits and place each one in a muffin cup. Firmly press into bottom and up sides. Spoon about 1/4 cup meat mixture into each biscuit lined cup. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
