Summer Sunflowers

 

Supplies:

• ~ brown cardboard, cut into circles
• ~ yellow crepe paper
• ~ glue
• ~ sunflower seeds
• ~ green construction paper

Directions:

• ~ Use a small plate as your pattern to cut cardboard circles for each of the children.
• ~ Cut several short strips (about 1-2 inches) of yellow crepe paper.
• ~ Have the children glue the strips around the edge of the circle, overlapping them as they go.
• ~ Glue sunflower seeds onto the center of the flower.
• ~ Attach a stem and leaves made from green paper.
