Sharing Hands and Hearts

 

Supplies:

• ~ White Paper
• ~ Tempera paint in assorted colors
• ~ Red paper
• ~ Heart pattern
• ~ Scissors

Directions:

• ~ Paint each child's hand with a different color of paint.
• ~ Ask them to press their handprint on their own paper-and then on a friend's paper.
• ~ Place a red paper heart in the center of each handprint.
• ~ Discuss how the different colors, shapes and sizes of handprints make each picture interesting and unique.
