Leprechaun Ladders

 

Create a wee bit o' fun for your little ones with this clever craft.

Supplies:

• ~ Plastic drinking straws
• ~ Safety Scissors
• ~ Green construction paper
• ~ Hole punch
• ~ Yarn
• ~ Clear tape

Directions:

• ~ Cut a one-foot length of yarn for each child. Wrap a small piece of tape around one end of the yarn to make it easier to thread through.
• ~ Give the children each a straw and have them cut it into 1-inch pieces. (This is kind of fun because the pieces of straw shoot away from you as you cut them!)
• ~ Cut shamrock shapes or circles from the green construction paper. Then punch a hole in the center.
• ~ Alternate threading the straw pieces and the shamrocks onto the yarn.
• ~ Hang your finished leprechaun ladders from a window sill-so that the little fellas can get in (and out!) of your house!
