Earth Day Art

 

Commemorate April 22 by making your own earth.

Supplies:

• ~ Liquid glue
• ~ Paintbrushes
• ~ Blue and green tissue paper (cut or torn into small squares)
• ~ Paper plates

Directions:

• ~ Combine 2 parts glue with 1 part water and place it in a small, shallow dish.
• ~ Have the children paint their paper plate with the glue mixture.
• ~ Place pieces of green and blue tissue paper on the plate to represent the land and water of the earth.
