Windsocks

 

Supplies:

• ~ Small cardboard tubes
• ~ Markers or crayons
• ~ Crepe paper
• ~ Glue sticks
• ~ Hole punch
• ~ Yarn

Directions:

• ~ Have the children use markers or crayons to decorate their own cardboard tube.
• ~ Attach crepe paper strips to the bottom.
• ~ Punch two holes at the top and thread a piece of yarn through it.
• ~ Hang the windsocks outside where the children can easily view them from a window. Watch them to see which way the wind is blowing!
