My Own Forest

 

The letters of the child's name are the tree trunks-and their hand prints are the foliage in this personalized forest!

Supplies:

• ~ White paper
• ~ Brown marker
• ~ Green tempera paint

Directions:

• ~ Print the child's name in large block letters across the bottom of the paper, using the brown marker.
• ~ Have the child dip his hand in green paint and press handprints across the page.

Tip: Tape a strip of paper over the child's name while they are painting to avoid having them paint over the letters.
