Pine Needle Sachets

 

This craft makes a great gift for parents or grandparents and the scent will remind them of holiday cheer all winter long!

Supplies:

• ~ Pine needles
• ~ Children's socks (ask each child to bring a sock that's lost its mate.)
• ~ Ribbon

Directions:

• ~ Bundle up the kids and head outdoors to the nearest stand of pines to gather some fresh pine needles. Have each child fill a small paper cup with needles.
• ~ Inside, put the fresh needles into the sock.
• ~ Cut the sock off about two inches past where the needles end.
• ~ Tuck the cut edges under to finish it off.
• ~ Close and tie the sock with a colorful ribbon.
