Cheese Crispies

 







   Serving Size:
1 crispie provides 0.5 oz MMA for a 3-5 year old at snack.

 

   Yield:
16 crispies

 


 

Ingredients:

1 c. whole wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 beaten egg(s)
1/4 cup milk
sesame seeds

Directions:
Blend flour, baking powder, paprika and salt in a bowl. Add grated cheese, beaten egg and milk. Mix all ingredients until dough forms a ball. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out dough very thin. Cut with cookie cutters or drinking glass and place on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until lightly golden and firm.
