Applesauce
Wash, quarter, core and pare apples. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add apples to the boiling water. Return to boil, cover and boil gently until tender. Press through a sieve or mash with a fork. Add sugar and spice. Yield: approximately 8 servings Serving Size: one serving is 1/4 cup of fruit/vegetable. Credit: Food Study Manual, Charley. Materials
