Gorgeous Granola

 







   Serving Size:
1/8 cup provides 0.5 oz grain for a 3-5 year old at breakfast or snack.

 

   Yield:
Makes 6 cups

 


 

Ingredients:

5 cups (use regular, not instant) rolled oats
1 1/4 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground, dried ginger
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Spread mixture on parchment or foiled baking sheet pan. Bake for 30 minutes or longer. Stir occasionally, the longer granola bakes, the crunchier it will get. Do not burn. Remove from oven and cool baking sheet on a cooling rack. Once completely cooled place granola in air tight container, will keep for months.
