3/4 cup smoothie with 1/8 cup granola topping provides 0.5 oz grain, 1 oz meat/ meat alternate and 1/2 cup fruit for a 3-5 year old at breakfast.
2 1/3 cups granola
5 cups frozen mixed berries
3 cups plain or vanilla yogurt (less than 3.83 gm sugar per oz)
Place 1 1/2 cups of granola, all the berries and yogurt in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Top each smoothie with 1/8 cup granola.
