Cabbage Steaks

 







   Serving Size:
1 cabbage steak provides 1/4 cup vegetable for a 3-5 year old at lunch/supper

 

   Yield:
6 steaks

 


 

Ingredients:

1/2 head (6-8" in diameter) green cabbage
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt
black pepper

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Slice the cabbage into 1" thick round "steaks." Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast until brown and crispy on top, approximately 12 minutes.
