Eggs in a Nest

 







   Serving Size:
1 nest provides 1 oz grain and 2 oz meat/ meat alternate for a 3-5 year old at breakfast.

 

   Yield:
6 nests

 


 

Ingredients:

6 slices whole grain bread
6 egg(s)

Directions:
Toast bread and cut a small circle out of the center with the top of a small drinking glass. Lightly spray one side with non-stick cooking spray. Heat skillet to medium-high heat. Place toast in skillet, coated side down then crack one egg directly into the center of the toast cut out circle. Cover and cook until eggs is completely cooked. Top egg with the circle of bread.
