Raspberry Refresher

 

Materials

  • ~ 2 (8 oz.) containers raspberry yogurt
  • ~ 2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled
  • ~ 2 tsp. sugar
  • ~ 4 ice cubes


The children can help prepare this tasty snack, which uses fruit flavored yogurt as a base. This would be a good time to talk about the dairy foods we eat in honor of National Dairy Month.

Raspberry Refresher


Assemble all ingredients and utensils. Have the children take turns placing the ingredients into the blender container; cover. Blend on high speed until ice is in small pieces and mixture is well combined. Serve immediately in chilled glasses.

Yield: 4 servings
Serving size: one serving is one meat alternate at snack for a 6 - 12 year old.
