Pine Cone Turkeys

 

Materials

• ~ Pine Cone or Thistle
• ~ Pipe Cleaners (Brown or Tan)
• ~ Colored Feathers (made from paper or real feathers)

Cut a short piece of colored pipe cleaner for a beak. Bend another pipe cleaner into a loop for the head, curving the rest of it for a neck. Twist on the beak, and fit the end of the pipe cleaner into the smaller end of the pine cone.

Bend a long pipe cleaner around the pine cone (between the petals) and bend up the bottoms for feet. Add feathers to the large end of the pine cone.
