Bring the water, juice, salt or bouillon to a boil. Add the rice and optional seasonings; stir. Cover and cook over low heat until tender; 20 - 25 minutes for white rice and 45 - 50 minutes for brown rice. Add more water if needed.
Yield: 2 1/2 cups rice
Serving Size: 1/4 cup rice is a grain for a 3 - 5 year old.
