Tangy Green Bean Salad

 

Ingredients:

2 (15.5 oz.) cans drained whole green beans
1/2 c. chopped ripe olives
1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. French dressing
few onion rings, optional

Directions:

Combine drained beans, onion and olives in bowl. Mix horseradish with French dressing and pour over bean mixture. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. To serve, toss lightly. Garnish with onion rings.


Yield: 4 cups
Serving Size: 1/4 cup salad is a 1/4 cup vegetable for a 3-5 year old at lunch/supper.
