Cinnamon Honey Fruit Salad

 

Ingredients:

1 c. cored apple(s)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. segmented orange(s)
1 c. peeled, quartered kiwi
1 c. halved strawberries
6 oz. low fat yogurt (less than 3.83 gm sugar per oz)
2 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Cut apples into eights and dip in lemon juice. Combine with other fruits. (Any seasonal fruit can be used.) Blend yogurt, honey and cinnamon. Portion fruit into cups. Top with yogurt-honey mixture.


Yield: 4 cups
Serving Size: 1/2 cup salad is 1/2 cup fruit for a 3-5 year old at breakfast/snack. 1/4 cup salad is 1/4 cup fruit for a 3-5 year old at lunch/dinner.
