Cowboy Soup

 

Ingredients:

1 lb. cooked and drained hamburger
2 c. tomato juice
4 c. water
2 beef bouillon cube(s)
2 c. diced potato(es)
1/4 c. onion flakes
1 c. green beans
1 (15 oz.) can black beans

Directions:

Simmer all ingredients in a large pot for 15-20 minutes. Save time by browning hamburger ahead of time and freezing in one meal packages.


Yield: 10 servings
Serving Size: 1/10 of recipe is a 1.5 oz. meat/ meat alternate and 1/4 cup vegetable for a 3 - 5 year old at lunch/supper.
