Cheese Biscuits

 

Ingredients:

2 cups grated mild cheese
1/2 lb. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt

Directions:

Cream butter and cheese with mixer. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Knead dough well on wax paper. Add nuts and knead again. Make small balls and flatten with fork on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. Cool and eat.


Yield: 30 biscuits
Serving Size: One biscuit is a grain serving for a 3 - 5 year old.
