Superstar Breakfast

 




Ingredients:

2 cups water
1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
3/4 cup couscous, dry
3 1/2 cups chopped pear(s)

Directions:

In medium saucepan, combine water and pumpkin pie spice. Bring to a boil. Add couscous and pears. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes.


Yield: 4 cups
Serving Size: 3/4 cup provides 0.5 grain and 1/2 cup fruit for a 3-5 year old at breakfast.
