Grape and Veggie Saute

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup seedless, halved grapes
1 cup pea pods
1/2 cup sliced green onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 cup floret broccoli
1 cup thinly sliced carrot(s)
1/4 cup orange juice
dash cayenne pepper

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in 1 ¢ quart microwave-safe dish; cover with plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes. Stir mixture and microwave 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 minutes longer until vegetables are tender.


Yield: 4 cups
Serving Size: 1/3 cup veggie saute is 1/4 cup vegetable for 3 - 5 year old at lunch/dinner.
