Cabbage Steaks

 




Ingredients:

1/2 head (6-8" in diameter) green cabbage
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt
black pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Slice the cabbage into 1" thick round "steaks." Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast until brown and crispy on top, approximately 12 minutes.


Yield: 6 steaks
Serving Size: 1 cabbage steak provides 1/4 cup vegetable for a 3-5 year old at lunch/supper
