In medium sauce pan, bring water and quinoa to a boil.
Add salt and brown sugar, then cover, reduce heat to a simmer.
Simmer until water is absorbed, and quinoa is tender, about 12-15 minutes.
Once cooked,fold in chopped fruit.
Yield: Makes 6 cups
Serving Size: 1 cup provides 1 oz grain and 1/2 cup fruit for a 3-5 year old at breakfast.
