Summertime Tuna Bites



3 5-ounce cans of drained and flaked water-packed tuna
1/4 cup shredded cheese
2 Tbsp cream cheese
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
3/4 cup pineapple tidbits
1 Tbsp chopped almond(s)
18 whole wheat crackers


Combine tuna, cream cheese and mayonnaise in medium bowl, mixing well. Chill, if desired, until ready to serve. Before serving, Stir drained pineapple chunks and almonds into tuna mixture. Spoon 2 1/2 Tbsp mixture onto each cracker.

Yield: 18 tuna bites
Serving Size: 3 tuna bites is 0.5 oz grain and 1.5 oz meat/ meat alternate fpr a 3-5 year old at lunch/supper.
