Breakfast Apple Pizzas

 

Ingredients:

3 medium horizontally sliced (24 pieces total) apple(s)
3/4 cup nut or peanut butter
1 1/2 c. granola

Directions:

Spread 1 1/2 teaspoons of peanut or nut butter on each apple piece. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of granola on top of peanut butter. Tip: Dip apples in lemon juice/water mixture if not being served right away.


Yield: 24 apple pizzas
Serving Size: 4 apple pizzas is a 1/2 cup fruit, 1 oz MMA and 1 oz grain for a 3-5 year old at snack.
