Rice Shamrock

Shamrocks are a symbol for the Irish and are abundant on St. Patrick's Day. The children can make their own shamrocks using the above materials.

~ Cut a shamrock shape from green construction paper.
~ Place a bowl of uncooked rice in the center of the table.
~ Cover the shamrock with a thin layer of glue. Have each child sprinkle a small amount of rice over the glue.
~ Let dry.
