2024 Year in Review

As we kick off 2025, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all the incredible child care providers throughout Minnesota! Your dedication and care make a world of difference every day in the lives of children and families providing nutritious meals, promoting active lifestyles, and leading a brighter, healthier future. At Providers Choice, we are proud of everything we accomplished in 2024 to support our mission, exemplify our core values, and empower all child care providers to successfully partner with our organization and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
2024 was another great year, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Together, we served 13,941,720 healthy meals and snacks; supported the growth and development of 56,976 children who are being cared for by 2,555 family child care homes and 116 child care centers throughout Minnesota. We are also excited to share that through our Food Program Training and Gather & Grow annual events, we delivered 6,084 hours of continuing education to providers to ensure all state and federal child care licensing requirements are met. Finally, we would like to thank National CACFP Association, Minnesota Department of Education, Cargill, KidKare, Food Research & Action Center, Hunger Impact Partners, Free Meals For Kids, General Mills Bell Institute, for all their support over the years. Without your assistance and contributions, we would not be able to advocate for children’s health and nutrition every single day.
