Rainy Day Rainbows

 

Materials

• ~ Good quality white paper towels
• ~ Washable marker
• ~ Paintbrushes
• ~ Water

Instructions

• ~ Cover your table with old newspapers.
• ~ For each child, cut a paper towel into a rainbow shape.
• ~ Let the children color stripes of different colors onto the paper towel, leaving some space between stripes.
• ~ Next, use a paintbrush dipped in water to apply water across the stripes. As the towel absorbs the water, the colors will blend into a pretty rainbow.
