Lucky Rainbow Necklaces

 

Materials

• ~ Yarn
• ~ Fruit flavored ring shaped cereal
• ~ Green construction paper
• ~ Safety scissors
• ~ Hole puncher
• ~ Clear tape

Instructions

• ~ Draw or trace a shamrock shape onto green paper for each child. One easy way to create a shamrock is to trace around three heart shapes.
• ~ Have the children cut out their shamrock shape and help them to punch a hole in the top.
• ~ Set the cereal out and let the children string the rainbow cereal and the shamrock onto a length of yarn.
